GetBeerGlasses.com is a small, independent site with a simple mission: find beer glassware that’s actually worth talking about. Not another list of plain pint glasses, but the dragon steins, ox horn drinking horns, hand-carved wooden mugs, and delightfully weird novelty glasses that make people ask “where did you get that?”
Who picks them
Every product here is picked by Chip H. A few of them come straight out of Chip’s own cupboard: the Chimay chalices, Paulaner weizen glasses, Libbey Stockholm pilsners and double-walled glasses on the craft beer glasses page, and the Hydro Flask 64oz and Host Freeze cups on the insulated beer mugs page. Those cards carry an “Owned by Chip H.” label. (There is also a set of can glasses in that cupboard, from a different brand than the ones we link.)
Everything else is chosen through research rather than hands-on testing, and we would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise. We never claim to have tried a product we have not owned.
How we check a product
- It has to be genuinely distinctive. If you could find it in any big-box store, it doesn’t make the list.
- We read the maker’s listing, not just the photo. Sizes, set counts, materials and care instructions on our cards come from the listing itself. When a listing leaves something out (dishwasher safety is the usual gap), we say it is not listed instead of guessing.
- Sculpted mugs need a steel cup inside. Every resin dragon and skull mug here has a stainless steel liner, so the beer never touches the paint.
- Horns must be sealed. Natural horn needs a food-safe lining before it holds a drink, so we look for one in the listing.
- The catch goes on the card. When a listing turns up a drawback, like a mug that is hand wash only or party cups that are not insulated, it appears under “Worth knowing” next to the product.
- Ratings get a look. We skim buyer feedback for deal-breakers (leaks, chips, misleading photos) before featuring anything.
No manufacturer pays for placement, and we don’t accept sponsored listings.
Keeping it current
In October 2026 we re-read the Amazon listing behind every product on the site. That pass corrected a few details (one monogram glass turned out to be laser engraved, not printed) and produced the “Worth knowing” notes. If something stops being available or the reviews turn sour, we replace it or take it down. Each page shows the month it last changed, and that date only moves when the page really does.
How we make money
We’re a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Every product link goes to Amazon, and if you buy something after clicking, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. You get Amazon’s regular prices, shipping, and return policy either way. That commission is the site’s only income, and it keeps the lights on.
